Yep. I know. Most of you are expecting that this should be the 1st chapter of Tonari no Tonari no Oneesan. We have a big problem everyone, I can't find the japanese raw of Tonari. It's always the chinese version. So if you happen to have that, please send it to me so that I could start translating it. I do hope that the japanese raw exists somewhere. T_T Anyway, I hope that this release can make up for it. I was planning to translate a non-tsuyatsuya one-shot for this release but I feel that most of you would love to see more of Hisae-sensei. I redid chapters 1-2. Damn, so many mistranslations in
my first attempt in translating hahah!

Many thanx FC. I know nothing about this story, but you can't be wrong with Tsuyatsuya. The truth is i can't find Tonari no Tonari no Oneesan on the web either. I mean i did find, but pass is needed to open them. So don't bother yourself. Till you finish this work, someone will find it.

I would be willing to buy a scanner for himm, pay for the Japanese manga to let him buy, beg, borrow or nick what we wanted. maybe farfetched, but doable, I just don't know how to make contact with an 'otaku' across the water. What do you think?

ReplyDeleteone has the first 2 chapters (I think) mixed in with a different little stories not related the main story line. While the other (The one book being translated) has the main story but it's only volume 1, there's other volumes out there but have yet to be scan and upload. Then there's the one big ass book that's has the whole story (can be found also).

ReplyDeleteyeah, but each volume is just 40 some pages with like 7 volumes in total.
The ones missing are I think 4 5 and 6 and I believe 7 is floating around there, and like I said theres a whole book containing everything.
Oh, I see. It felt odd going through the raw. Seemed like an open ending from the raw which I browsed through. That explains it. Thanks, blackinmind (Please wait patiently for Sei-Jin's releases, he's doing his best while managing 21 credit hours at the same time. =O I am just glad that he is doing it at all. =S).
ReplyDeletefatedcircle, I finally get what you meant by missing volumes/chapters. I was looking on baka updates and it shows there the series is 1 volume long only. I assume, that's the version with ~280 pages.
well madam hisae was one of tsuyax2 earlier work which is in progress before he compiled it so is known to have lots of it missing and diff in version depending on the year
